Residual Fragments

four digital prints / 100 x 70 cm each / C-print / 2014

This series operates at the threshold where the photographic record intersects with the fluidity of memory. Rather than treating photographs as static historical markers, the work approaches them as malleable traces, examining how past events are reconfigured within the subjective realm of human consciousness. Utilizing a personal family archive that spans from the period before my birth into my early childhood, I transform these memories into abstract, fragmented visual sequences—where time loses its linearity and the past becomes a living structure within the present.

This series was originally presented as part of my solo exhibition If We Synchronize the Dance, We Will Survive.
